21 Malware Apps Removed from Google Play Store

Google Play Store from the search engine giant, after taking down, 30+ apps indulged in fraudulent activities in June, 25 apps caught stealing Facebook credentials in July, and 17 apps infected with Joker malware, in the recent month. The company has now again pulled down 21 apps from its Google Play Store.

The 21 apps which got recently pulled down by Google Play Store were reported to be infected by an adware, called HiddenAds. All these apps are said to have an downloads of around eight million times. The list of apps infected by this adware was discovered by the Czech antivirus, made by Avast. Coming on the purpose of this adware, called HiddenAds, as the name suggests, this adware is to serve up the users with an intrusive ads outside the app itself.

  • Iron it
  • Shooting Run
  • Plant Monster
  • Find Hidden
  • Rotate Shape
  • Jump Jump
  • Sway Man
  • Dessert Against
  • Cream Trip – New
  • Props Rescue
  • Find 5 Differences – 2020 NEW
  • Find the Differences – Puzzle Game

So, if you been using any of these apps it’s better to uninstall it from your device itself. However, removing these above apps is easy but uninstalling the hidden adware or apps isn’t easy to find, as these hidden apps are not found over the app drawer.

Uninstall hidden apps:

  • Navigate to Settings>Apps and search the name of the hidden app
  • Select the app>Tap to uninstall
