Bharti Airtel being a leading telecom provider recently originated a new revision over their entry-level prepaid plan of Rs 99 to match and compete the benefits with the Reliance Jio Rs 98 plan. As after the effect of revision, the entry-level plan of Rs 99 by Airtel will now provide 2GB of 2G/3G/4G data benefit along with other benefits like unlimited local and STD calling over any network around India with 100 SMS daily for the entire validity period of 28 days.
While having a look over this plan, the Rs 99 plan by Airtel comes to be just as the flip side of Reliance Jio Rs 98 plan where the plan provides 2GB 4G data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS for the validity of 28 days. And also in fact with is new revision Airtel also manages to beat Reliance Jio by an offering of 100 SMS per day instead of 300 SMS as by Reliance Jio. While other than that there come to be no other differences over the other benefits as both the network provides unlimited calling without FUP over voice callings. But here the only catch that comes into is that as Airtel Rs 99 plan is not an open market offer but just available for selected users.
