Apple Announces Free Repair Programme for iPhone 8 Users
Apple the California based company has recently announced to offer a Free Repair Programme for the iPhone 8 users. While the program has been specifically specified for the users who purchased their Apple iPhone 8 device between September 2017 and March 2018. While under this period, the device manufactured were got to be seen with a logic board issue so which indeed Apple will be repairing the devices with such issues for free under this programme.
For the unknown, the “logic board” is the main circuit board which consists of CPU, main system memory, circuitry that controls the devices. Under this effect, the manufactured devices were facing unexpected restarts, frozen screens and issues with the device turning on.
While where Apple determined that the affected devices with a logic board between September 2017 and March 2018 were sold over the countries like Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Macau, New Zealand and the US. So if the iPhone 8 comes under an eligible serial number then Apple would repair the logic board issue for free.
But along with that, the company also recommends the users to fix the hardware issues like broken screens along with updated iCloud and iTunes before submitting the device, as the programme will not support those issues. Moreover, the company also added that “Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this programme and this programme does not extend the standard warranty coverage.”
