Asus Zenfone AR Finally Launched in Taiwan with Snapdragon 821 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 23 MP Camera
Asus last year at CES 2017 unveiled Zenfone AR as the world’s first Tango and Daydream support smartphone. Finally, after almost 18 months from the unveil, the Asus Zenfone AR with the model number ZS572KL finally goes on sale at its own home Taiwan for the price of NT$9,990 which in approx comes to be $330(approx Rs 22,700).
Talking about the specification offered, the Zenfone AR comes with 5.7-inches Super AMOLED Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with 16:9 aspect ratio, powered by 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The devices further come with 256GB onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat custom Zen UI on top, physical home button integrated the fingerprint sensor beneath the display.
On the camera, the Zenfone AR comes with a single front-facing 8MP camera f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide angle lens while on the rear the device comes with 23MP 4-axis OIS, EIS, dual-PDAF, TriTech autofocus system, second-gen Laser Focus, and continuous-focus camera.
Other than that the device is also offered with SonicMaster 3.0 support, 3,300mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charging 3.0 and coming to the best part the device has built-in vapor cooling system to overcome heating.
