Honor Play Flagship Smartphone With Kirin 970 Soc, GPU Turbo Launched For India as Amazon Exclusive
Honor the sub-brand of Huawei which while after the last launch of its Honor Play in China with companies latest GPU Turbo technology has recently found to be launched even on India at August 6 through the e-commerce partner Amazon India as per confirmed. While this Honor Play will be the third smartphone from Honor with the Kirin 970 chipset but with the major change here would be the GPU Turbo technology feature. The phone here will also come on various color options included as Black, Blue, Violet, and Red.
Specification and Pricing
The Honor Play will here come with a notch 6.3-inch Full HD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution of the display and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. As beneath the device get powered by Kirin 970 chipset coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM both come along with only 64GB of internal storage for Indian variants which could be expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). But as we mentioned above about GPU Turbo technology which means that the device will get a boost of performance by 40% and also keeps the battery consumption lower.
While talking about the camera, the Honor Play will be having 16MP and 2MP sensors on the rear side with loaded features as AI scene detection and Portrait modes and for the front with 16MP shooter which also has a software-based Portrait mode.
Other than that, the Honor Play also boots on latest Android 8.1 Orea out of the box based EMUI 8.2, backend by 3750mAh battery with fast charging support and other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors onboard the smartphone are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
And while on pricing, the device is expected to come at the price of approx Rs 21,500 as because Honor may not launch Kirin 970 SoC based device at a price of less than Rs 25,000 for India.
