JioPhone 2 Launced with WhatsApp & Facebook Support and QWERTY Keyboard for Rs 2,999

At AGM 2018, Reliance Jio announced its upgraded version of JioPhone and listed as JioPhone 2. The JioPhone 2 is basically a fresh lineup above the existing JioPhone with a QWERTY keypad and some additional features. The JioPhone 2 is currently priced at Rs 2,999 and will be available from August 15.

While moving on the specification, the JioPhone 2 will come with 2.4-inches QVGA display along with 9:16 aspect ratio. Behind that, the JioPhone 2 will come with 4-row of QWERTY keyboard and 4-key navigation button. Other than that, the device also gets packed with 512MB RAM couple with 4GB onboard storage which could further be expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD card, built-in Google Assistant for using voice commands in English and Hindi, 2MP camera on the rear with VGA front-facing camera, powered by 2,000mAh battery and the most amazing features like dual SIM support unlike JioPhone along with VoLTE and VoWiFi to make the device future ready.

Unlike JioPhone, the JioPhone 2 will also support Facebook, WhatsApp, and Youtube. While JioPhone 2 also supports other connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
