Nokia 7 Plus launched back during April 2018 by HMD Globa for a price of Rs 25,999 has recently rolled out a new server-side update for fixing the network related bugs occurred during the last updates. As of now, HMD has already issued the updates. However, the main highlight of this update would be on fixing the VoLTE related issue.
While Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global also confirmed the news over the twitter handler and stated that the reason behind this issue was due to the Modem config file which was not loading properly over the previous update, which now got fixed with the new server-side update. Other than that now Nokia 7 Plus supports VoLTE on Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and might also support Idea Cellular after the July update. But while the VoLTE support of telecom operators are limited at the moment so every user may not enjoy the benefits excluding Reliance Jio users as its VoLTE coverage is available for pan-India.
