Vodafone India just like every year since 2013 is ready to assist the Warkaris during Pandharpur Yatra 2018. Where two Vodafone Mobile vans will help travelers to stay connected with their families within this entire 21 days journey with one van accompanying each Palkhi routes of Tukaram Maharaj and other Dnyaneshwar Maharaj.
During this entire 21 days journey, Vodafone India will be offering free services were each van will be equipped with 8 phones and 50 charging points for the Warkaris. Other than that this year, Vodafone will also offer an additional LED screen were the telco would stream live contents such as news, bhakti bhajans and religious movies using their Vodafone Play services to bring and entertainment on the road for Warkaris.
As stated by Ashish Chandra, Business Head of Vodafone India in Goa and Maharashtra circle “Vodafone is proud to associate with the Pandharpur Yatra for the sixth year in a row. The annual yatra is a one-of-its-kind pilgrimage that brings almost all of Maharashtra together, with lakhs of devotees from different towns in the state joining in the 450 km journey by foot.”
